Livingston is at the head of the picturesque Paradise
Valley leading to Yellowstone Nat'l Park. This 53-mile
long valley follows the majestic Yellowstone River.
Three breathtaking mountain ranges surround Livingston,
with many large ranches, hot springs and
ghost towns located nearby. The dominating theme of
downtown Livingston is railroading. The historic Northern
Pacific depot, with its curved colonnade and terra cotta
ornament has been restored to its original grandeur.
Main street, with rows of uninterrupted period buildings,
railroad workshops and yard works remains in a downtown
