Hamilton is located in the lush, agriculturally rich
Bitterroot Valley of south western Montana. The town
is the central trade area for hundreds of small farms,
ranches and orchards that fill the valley.
It is also home to the Daly Mansion built in the late
1800s for Marcus Daly, one of Montana's colorful "Copper
Kings." The two-story mansion, situated on gorgeous
tree-lined grounds, features 42 rooms; and seven fireplaces.
The scenic Bitterroot River and impressive peaks of
the Bitterroot Range run more than 60 miles along the
entire length of the valley.
