It may be called a city, but the only thing you'll find it populated with are bulbous rock formations. The unique geology of Rock City sits on the Two Medicine River near Valier. With a somewhat eerie and other-worldly feel, it is not hard to imagine that you are no longer on Earth while walking amongst the rising stone towers. In fact, Rock City was scouted and seriously considered as a location for the movie Starship Troopers and Galaxy Quest. |
