Situated just 13 miles apart on the Blackfeet Indian
Reservation, the towns of Browning and East Glacier
are bordered on the west by the magnificent mountains
and lakes of Glacier National Park. Rolling plains
and farmland, much of the grassland never broken by
a plow, lie to the east and northeast. Browning
is home to the Museum of the Plains Indian which houses
a comprehensive collection of artifacts from the tribes
of the Northern Plains.
